To meet the company's growing needs, we are looking for an IT Developer Support Specialist for our development teams located in Hoeilaart (near Brussels) or in Angleur (near Liège).

Function

As an IT Developer Support Specialist, you'll be an integral part of our team, providing essential support to developers and project managers. Your role will involve:

• Smooth Development: Assisting developers in setting up and navigating development environments to ensure a seamless coding & testing experience.
• Quality Assurance: Overseeing continuous integration and quality checks, ensuring the highest standards are met throughout the development process.
• Efficiency Enhancement: Developing tools and scripts that streamline development phases, making coding tasks more efficient.
• Collaboration: Providing technical support to developers by troubleshooting technical issues and identifying best practices. As well as actively participating in discussions to improve development processes and craft innovative solutions.

• Tech Enthusiasm: You have a genuine passion for IT and technology, and you're excited about contributing your skills to meaningful aerospace projects.
• Team Player: While you're comfortable working independently, you also thrive in collaborative team environments.
• Coding Proficiency: You're familiar with programming and scripting languages, and you have a good grasp of version control systems like Git and ticketing systems such as Redmine.

Requirements:

• Experience as a developer, with an in-depth understanding of development environments and continuous integration
• Programming and scripting skills (Python, Bash, JavaScript, etc.)
• Familiarity with version control tools like Git and ticketing systems such as Redmine
• Knowledge of continuous integration technologies (Jenkins, Gitlab CI/CD)
• Familiar with container technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)
